This peer review post is written about Pod 4’s Interactive Learning Resource which is titled ‘How Do We Learn Better?’. The link to the original resource is here: https://howdowelearnbetter.wordpress.com/overview/
The learning resource was clearly formatted, with a linear design that walked you through all of their work. They built tabs for their overview, rationales, expectations of learners, categorized lessons assessment plans and citations. They included links to outside resources so that the learner received information through videos and interactive diagrams, as well as through written paragraphs on the website. You can tell from the website that the project was approached very methodically and a lot of time went into how it was outlined.
I feel like the learning resource could have had a more linear flow with the website’s interface. After reading or completing one page, the learner has to scroll back to the top to select the next page they want to view. It would simplify the user experience if there were an option to go to forward or backwards by one page after reaching the bottom of the page they’re currently viewing. However, this is just a minor critique and doesn’t significantly impact learning. Another little critique is that there is an identical learning context page under both the rationales header and the learners’ header. I’m not sure whether this was intentional but I noticed that the same page appears twice in the learning resource.
